FLEA AND TICK TREATMENT FOR CATS

Furthermore, Frontline Spot On is the original formula from the UK’s leading flea and tick brand, Frontline. In addition, it kills fleas and ticks on cats and dogs to help protect them from the discomfort and diseases these parasites cause. Besides use it every 4 weeks for optimal protection.

Suitable for:
Cats and kittens from 8 weeks of age that weigh at least 1kg. On the other hand, it can be used in pregnant and nursing cats. However animals should be weighed accurately prior to treatment.
Not suitable for:
Kittens less than 8 weeks of age or kittens weighing less than 1kg. Then do not use on animals that are unwell, are undergoing treatment, or are recovering from illness. Do not on rabbits. Do not use in cats with known hypersensitivities to any of the ingredients.
Composition:
Fipronil 10% w/v. Each 0.5 ml pipette contains 50 mg fipronil. Also contains Butylhydroxyanisole 0.02% w/v and Butylhydroxytoluene 0.01% w/v
Warnings and Safety:
Meanwhile do not allow cats to bathe or swim for 2 days after treatment, or on a frequent basis i.e. more than once a week.
CHECKLIST FOR USING FRONTLINE SPOT ON
– Your cat is at least eight weeks old
– Cat weighs at least 1kg
– If cat shows no signs of lesions or feeling unwell. If they show any of these signs, you should not apply the product and see a veterinary surgeon
No flea product can stop fleas jumping onto your pets. It is normal to see a few fleas on your pet after treatment as new fleas continue to hatch out from infested environments. These fleas will be killed within 24 hours of jumping onto your treated pet.
HOW TO WEIGH YOUR CAT SAFELY
If you can lift your cat without risking injuring yourself, then first weigh yourself on your bathroom scales, then set the scales to zero and stand on them holding your cat to work out your cat’s weight; or weigh yourself holding your cat and subtract your own weight.
